i think the saddest part of this message is the fact that brooklyn, a grown man whose married, couldn’t pay for his own green card.

I feel like when Nicola meets a potential love interest she matches their energy, becomes like them, completely and 100% embodies their character and persona…because she has none. It’s like bait and switch almost. Eventually she cracks and her true self comes out. Evil and colorless. No personality. No character. Not wholesome or sensitive. She is just cold and empty. Poor Brooklyn, he’s the totally opposite honestly.
a lot of people have said this. i just feel like brooklyn isn’t one to really care solely for looks. don’t think he would’ve proposed and went through with the marriage so soon if there was some doubt. maybe he’s seeing the good in her, idk.
